Various Styles Of Womens Shoes

Women's shoes come in a range of styles suited for diverse purposes and different occasions. A few of the common styles of women's shoes are described below.

Wedge shoes: In this type of shoes, the heel is joined with the front part where the toe rests on the ground. This creates a style where the complete sole is in contact with the ground. The main advantage of wedge shoes is that you can get the benefit of wearing a heel without the trouble of balancing on a thin heel. By having the entire sole in contact with the ground, you can feel more stability and have a good time without worrying about body balance.

Ballet Flat shoes: Ballet flat shoes are light and easily wearable, and offer a classic charm. They do not have heals and usually comprise of an elastic band around the crown of the foot to maintain the shoe tip in proper position. They are made from a variety of materials, such as metallic fabrics and canvases. No matter whatever the material, you can feel very light in the ballet flat shoes.

Sling Back shoes: These types of shoes have high heels and a strap positioned behind the ankle. Although not very suited for winters, this type of shoe is perfect for summers with all its openness. Sling back shoes look beautiful in offices, as they lend an immensely feminine appearance. They are generally open toed. The strap located behind the ankle can vary in width to provide more support, if needed.

Stiletto shoes: These are high heel shoes with the heel's height ranging from one to eight inches and diameter less than half inch. Stiletto shoes first became fashionable in the 1950's. They lend a more feminine look. They can be physically bearing as they make the leg calves to tighten.

Espadrille shoes: In these shoes, the space between the heel and the front part where the toe rests on the ground is filled. Their sole is enclosed in a rope-like material. They usually have rubber packed inside the rope material for providing additional comfort. The upper part of these shoes is generally made up of canvas but can be made up of any other material such as leather or suede. Espadrilles are fun shoes, but are not meant for long hikes or a lot of walking. They look startling on beaches when paired with summer wear or worn along with a swimsuit.

The women's shoe styles described above are available in a range of sizes, colors, material compositions and prices. You can choose one based on your specific requirements.
